56G QSFP+ DAC direct attach copper cable assembly is suitable for very short distances and offers a highly cost-effective way to establish a 56 Gigabit link connectivity between devices using QSFP ports. it is designed as a more cost-effective and lower power alternative to optical cable assemblies for short length interconnects between active network equipment in data center and enterprise networking Infiniband applications.

The QSFP+ DAC cable is designed for 56Gb/s InfiniBand FDR interconnecting networking. applications such as high-performance computing (HPC), enterprise networking including top-of-rack switching and network storage markets.

The 56G QSFP+ DAC fully complies with QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards SFF-8436 and InfiniBand FDR specifications. It is developed specifically as a cost-effective and lower-power alternative to 56G QSFP+ optics and 56G QSFP+ active optical fiber cable (QSFP+ AOC).

The 56Gb/s QSFP+ FDR DAC Cable assemblies are constructed using premium 100 OHM cable and feature QSFP+ (SFF-8436) connectors with pull-tab ejectors for easy connection to equipment, support up to 4x14Gb per lane for up to 56Gb, meeting or exceeding current standards specifications.
